The Downers Grove North High School speech team won the Illinois High School Association Regional Championship for the first time since 1983.
Jordan Frank, speech team captain, said the group’s hard work has paid off.
“This feels long overdue. We’ve been working hard for quite some time and now we’re hoping the rest of the state recognizes that,” Frank said.
