Money reported stolen 
Police said an apartment was burglarized between 1 p.m. Oct. 12 and 1 p.m. Oct. 14 at Peace Memorial Manor in the 3700 block of Highland Avenue. About $150 was removed from a purse in the unit, police said. The unit was believed to have been locked by the tenant, police added.

Two cars damaged
A 2002 Toyota Highlander and a 2003 Cadillac Escalade were damaged between 3 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Starbucks parking lot, 5002 Main St., according to reports.

Police said the victim returned to his vehicles and noticed damage to the passenger side mirror on the Escalade. When he checked his Highlander, the rearview mirror was broken and the windshield was shattered.

Woman charged with DUI
Rebecca Federowicz, 25, 4510 Dumoulin Ave., Lisle was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 22 in the intersection of Fairview and Maple avenues, according to reports.

Westmont
Cell phone reported stolen
Police said a cell phone, valued at $400, was reported stolen from a local business after the phone was left on a counter. The theft occurred Oct. 20 at an unnamed business in the 0-100 block of Ogden Avenue, police said.

Vehicle locks damaged
Police said two cars had their door locks punched out, and miscellaneous items were taken from the vehicles. The incident occurred overnight Oct. 19 in the 700 block of Burr Oak Drive. A loss estimate was not determined, police said.

Vehicle window smashed
Police said the back window of a car was smashed overnight Oct. 19 in the 400 block of South Warwick Avenue. Damage is estimated at $800, police said.

Two charged with DUI
• Michael M. Welch 43, 16 N. Washington St., Westmont was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 3:20 a.m. Oct. 18 near the area of Ogden Avenue and Cumnor Road, police said.

• Adam Toerpe, 26, of Bolingbrook was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being pulled over at about 3:10 a.m. Oct. 18 near 55th Street and Wilmette Avenue, police said.

Car stereo reported stolen
Police said a DVD car stereo, valued at $550, was reported stolen from an unlocked car overnight Oct. 17 in the 700 block of West 65th Street, police said.

Woodridge
Teen leads cops in chase
John Fields, 19, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after being arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at Target, 2333 63rd St., police said.

Reports state Fields led officers on a foot pursuit, and then entered a car, which was later spotted in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue. He was pulled over and arrested, police added.
Merchandise taken included electronic items valued at about $650, police said.

Men face DUI charges
• John Bravo III, 20, 7705 Woodward Ave., Woodridge was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at about 1:45 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 8000 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

• Police said Baldomers Chavez, 44, of Joliet was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a one-car accident at about 2 a.m. Oct. 13 near the 7700 block of Route 53.

Car vandalized
Someone smashed the rear windshield of a vehicle between 11 a.m. Oct. 14 and 1 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 10000 block of Argonne Drive, police said.
