Park District to hold 50th anniversary photo contest

The Westmont Park District is holding a photo contest in honor of its 50 years of service to the community.
As part of the contest, residents are invited to take pictures at various Park District facilities or events and will be judged in three different categories, People in Our Parks, The Natural World of Our Parks, and Athletes in Our Parks.
The contest is open to all residents 10 year and up. Contest is open to amateur photographers only.
All entries must be received by Saturday, Aug. 1. Entries may be dropped off at Westmont Community Center, 75 E. Richmond St. or the Administrative Offices, 55 E. Richmond St.
Photos will go on display at the Gregg House museum Saturday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 9. Winners will be announced on Monday, Aug. 10.
