The Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry has named Marta Cullen, president and principal designer of Dream Interiors, Inc., as Citizen of the Year.

She will be recognized at the chamber’s Black & White Ball Saturday, Sept. 20.

Cullen, who is an active member of the chamber, is also involved in the Downers Grove Downtown Management Board of Directors, Downtown Market and Indian Boundary YMCA.

“We are especially happy to present this prestigious award to Marta.  Her excellent work promoting the downtown and her tireless support of Downers Grove non-profits sets an outstanding example,” Laura Crawford, president of the chamber, said in a written statement.
