Car burglarized
Police said a car parked in the 1700 block of Alamance Place was burglarized between 11 p.m. May 13 and 12:30 a.m. May 14.
Police said items missing include an iPod, navigation unit, $200 in cash, $40 in change, a phone charger and electronic adapters. The loss is estimated at $814.
Stereo reported stolen
Police said a car parked in the 1600 block of Bolson Drive was burglarized between 9 p.m. May 13 and 2:30 p.m. May 14. Police said a stereo was missing from the car’s dash. The loss is estimated at $600.
Battery alleged
Police said an employee of Burger King, 1445 Ogden Ave., was charged after another employee reported he squeezed her wrists at about 5:30 p.m. May 16.
Police said Rene S. Lima, 22, of Joliet, grabbed another employee and pulled her toward the restaurant’s cooler area. Police said Lima was holding the woman by her wrists and squeezing them. Police said the woman called over her headset for help and a manager responded.
Police said Lima was charged with battery.
Computer reported stolen
Police said a car parked in the TCBY ice cream store, 1340 75th St., was burglarized at about 6:45 p.m. May 17. Police said the front passenger window was shattered and a computer was missing. Police said the loss is about $2,300 and the damage is about $200.
Car reported burglarized
Police said a car parked in the 600 block of 36th Street was burglarized between May 4 and 18. Police said a stereo and sub woofer were missing. The loss is estimated at $265.
Bicycle reported stolen
Police said a mountain bicycle locked to a bike rack at the Main Street Depot train station, 1000 Burlington Ave., was stolen between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. May 18. Police said the bike and a helmet were locked to the rack. The loss is estimated at $430.
iPod reported taken
Police said a car parked in the lot at Hooters restaurant, 1303 Butterfield Road, was burglarized between 7 and 10 p.m. May 15.
Police said a passenger side window was broken. Items missing include an iPod, radar detector and two pairs of sunglasses. The loss is estimated at $850.
Van reported damaged
Police said a van parked at a Prentiss Creek Apartments in the 2000 block of Prentiss Drive was damaged between 11:30 p.m. May 15 and 7 a.m. May 16.
Police said the front passenger window was broken. Police said it appears the damage was done with a pellet or BB gun. The damage is estimated at $150.
Laptop reported missing
Police said a car parked in the lot at Hooters restaurant, 1303 Butterfield Road, was burglarized between 7:15 and 8 p.m. May 18.
Police said the rear passenger side window was broken and a briefcase containing a laptop was missing. The loss is estimated at $1,100 and the damage is about $100.
Car reported burglarized
Police said a car parked at the Marriott Hotel, 1500 Opus Place, was burglarized between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. May 19.
Police said a passenger side window was broken and items missing include a portable music player, car charger adapter and an audio cable. The damage is estimated at $300 and the loss is about $225.
Locker reported burglarized
Police said a locker at X-Sport Fitness, 3200 Finley Road, was burglarized between 8 a.m. May 17 and 11:30 p.m. May 21. Police said a combination lock was removed and a gym bag containing personal belongings were missing. The loss is estimated at $265.
Westmont
Retail theft alleged
Priscilla J. Fuller, 34, 532 S. Lindley Road, Westmont, was charged with retail theft after police said she allegedly tried to steal a dollhouse from a retail store. The incident occurred at about 8 a.m. May 14 at an unnamed business along the 0-100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said.
Compact disc player taken
Police said a resident in the 300 block of South Oak Street reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a compact disc player, valued at $155. The incident occurred overnight May 14, police said.
Minor faces alcohol charges
Christopher J. Atkinson, 20, 41112 Liberty Blvd., Westmont, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawful consumption by a minor after he was pulled over for a traffic stop at about 1:45 a.m. May 12 near Warwick and Melrose avenues, police said.
Navigation system stolen
A resident in the 900 block of North Pasquinelli Drive reported that a window was smashed in on a vehicle, and a navigation system was taken. The incident occurred overnight May 10, police said. The navigation unit is valued at $450, police said.
Man faces multiple charges
Damion H. Hudson, 26, 543 Burlington Ave., Downers Grove, was charged with speeding, driving with a suspended license and obstruction of justice. The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. May 8 near Route 83 and Ogden Avenue, police said.
Police also indicated Hudson had an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license.
Police make drug arrest
Glenn H. Russell, 20, of Maywood, was charged with possession of marijuana and two outstanding warrants for driving with a suspended license and retail theft. The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. May 8 in the 6700 block of Alpine Lane, police said.
Bicycle taken from porch
Police said a resident in the 0-100 block of West 60th Street reported that a $150 bicycle was taken off the front porch of a home. The incident occurred overnight May 8, police said.

Cash stolen from wallet
Police said $200 was taken from a wallet in a vehicle between 12:30 and 2 a.m. May 24 in the 6600 block of Seven Bridges Drive. Reports state the vehicle was locked at the time and no forced entry was observed.
Tools removed from car
Two saws were stolen from a vehicle between 12:30 and 10:45 a.m. May 24 in the 8800 block of Dryden Street, police said. Reports state the vehicle’s passenger window was broken to gain entry.
iPhone reported stolen
An iPhone was taken from a purse at 5 p.m. May 23 at a playground in the 2600 block of Center Drive, police said.
Vehicle reported damaged
Someone broke the side passenger window of a vehicle between 2 and 3 p.m. May 23 in the area of Woodridge Drive and Westmoreland Road, police said.
Car tagged with spray-paint
Police said the front windshield and side panel on a vehicle was vandalized with spray-paint between 9:30 p.m. May 11 and noon May 23 in the 1900 block of Wellington Road.
Obstruction alleged
Wanda Keller, 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer, attempted obstruction, driving while license suspended, no front plate and tinted windows following a traffic stop at about 9:45 a.m. May 22 in the area of 75th Street and Route 53, police said. Reports state Keller also had two outstanding warrants out of DuPage and Will counties.
Man charged with DUI
Donald J. Flanigan, 33, of Palos Hills, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to yield turning left following an accident at about midnight May 21 in the intersection of Route 53 and Hobson Road, police said.
Trash pump reported stolen
A trash pump, valued at $2,300, was stolen between 4 p.m. May 19 and 8 a.m. May 20 from a construction site at Lemont and Davey roads, police said.
