Sold my town car and bought a four cylinder Hyundai.

I think that expensive gas is a great way to reduce traffic congestion. Frankly, I am surprised that so many cars are still on the road. I have drastically changed my driving habits:
- Combine trips as much as possible
- Avoid driving anywhere if at all possible
- Shop and eat out closer to home
- Shop online instead of driving to stores
The future looks bleak. I expect gas to hit $5 soon and the world to finally end shortly thereafter.

I’m farting in the gas tank to save gas.

I pay $90.00 a month riding Metra to and from work. I could easily spend that each week filling up the gas tank. Its a no-brainer type decision for me. When you start leaving the car at home, you then begin to realize how many unnecessary trips are made when having that car as a convenience. Yes, sometimes the train runs a little late. Compared to sitting in traffic, its still a breeze.
