Man faces DUI charge
Dave A. Clark, 41, 7500 Orchard Lane, Woodridge was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 7:15 p.m. Oct. 8 near the intersection of 63rd and Richmond Street, police said.

Man caught with stolen car
John K. Schlachter, 55, 1110 Warren Ave., Downers Grove was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle after being arrested at about 12:15 p.m. Oct. 7 near Coe Road and Ogden Avenue in Clarendon Hills, police said.

Obstruction alleged
Gene Spillers, 31, 531 W. 61st St., Westmont was charged with obstruction of justice after police claim he gave officers a wrong name because he had outstanding warrants. The incident occurred at about 6:50 a.m. Oct. 4 near his home, police said.

Home window broken
Douglas P. Wood, 47, 135 E. Quincy St., Westmont was charged with criminal damage to property after police said he allegedly threw a rock and broke a window in the 0 to 100 block of South Wilmette Avenue. The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. Oct. 2, police said.

Armed robbery alleged
A man was approached by several people, one with a handgun, who took his money, global positioning system and cell phone at about 10:45 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 7200 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Woman charged with DUI
Beatrice Janius, 38, 2184 Country Club Drive, Woodridge was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 6 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 7700 block of Janes Avenue, police said.

Car vandalized
Police said the driver’s side and trunk panels of a car were keyed between 8 p.m. Oct. 3 and 9 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 7900 block of Westview Lane, police said. No damage estimate was provided.

Generators stolen
Three generators and a propane tank, together valued at about $7,300, were reported stolen from the 1000 block of Davey Road, police said.

Man nets DUI charge
Brendan Jepsen, 24, 7408 Canterbury Place, Downers Grove was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being pulled over at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 1 at the intersection of 75th Street and Deveraux Road, police said.

Backpack reported stolen
A backpack was reported taken from a car between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 6300 block of Dean Drive, police said.

Bridge tagged with graffiti
Police said a bridge was marked with red spray paint at about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 29 near Woodridge and Center drives, police said.
