Westmont police arrested a man who allegedly robbed a person at gunpoint at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday outside of a south-side Westmont grocery store.
Heriberto Villa-Nunez, 23, 4650 West Monticello Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery after he allegedly approached several people near the entrance to a grocery store on the 300 block of West 63rd Street, pointed a gun at a person and demanded money.
Police said the victim handed over an undisclosed amount of money and a cell phone, and Villa-Nunez fled the area in a vehicle.
Police said investigators found the suspect and vehicle in Woodridge, and he was taken into custody with the assistance of the Woodridge Police Department.
