A car on fire in the driveway of the home at 143 White Fawn Trail in Downers Grove also caused limited damage to the home’s garage, fire officials said Monday, June 22.
No one was injured. The Downers Grove Fire Department said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire department received a 911 call at 1:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, reporting that a car on fire.
When firefighters arrived, the car was fully engulfed and flames were extending toward the garage.
Fire officials said all the residents of the home were evacuated, and the fire was extinguished by 1:50 a.m.
Westmont and Oak Brook Fire departments assisted.
