Obama’s changes for the
country not for the better

I didn’t expect President Obama, Congress and the Senate to make such drastic changes. President Obama won the election because of the changes he supposedly promised would make a better America.

We Democrats were the minority for so long that now being the majority in the White House, Congress and Senate, we went hog wild and passed too many bills, too fast and too soon. What was the rush? Just 10 months in office, and look what he did so far, to name a few:

Unbelievable deficit, automobile companies takeover, constantly bailing out Bank of America and closing other banks, millions of jobs lost.

Health care bothers me. All legal Americans should have some sort of health care if they want. Thanks to the company I retired from, I have coverage with which I am very satisfied.

I didn’t pay any premiums for my benefits. Many cost of living increases were forfeited for the benefit package I have today.

Now that President Obama put our country so far in the hole, he wants to tax everyone and everything. We have been duped by a man who was able to get people to believe in his promises where “Yes we can” means the government will take over everything and our freedom will be gone. That is President Obama’s “Time for change.”

I’m very concerned we are now a socialistic America and very soon a communistic country. President Obama is too close to Russia. Why was the Russian submarine in American waters? Rent the movie “Red Dawn.”

Democrats, Republicans and independent voters must wake up before it’s too late. We are the land of the free. Let’s keep it that way for us and many generations to come.

I’m still a Democrat for now. It all depends on our president, Congress and Senate. Write or call your representatives to hear and act on what we say.

We voted them in; we can vote them out. I’m off my soap box and feel better.
