Police: man fired gun in home

Downers Grove, IL -
A Downers Grove man was taken into custody after police said he fired a gun several times into the ground during an argument at his home.
Police responded to the home of Virgil L. West, 55, of 4116 Finley Road, Downers Grove, at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.
West was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Police said the incident caused traffic to shut down on Finley Road between Ogden Avenue and Lacey Road.
