Opera troupe brings music to newest Villa Verone Ristorante

Elgin OPERA announces The Festival of Singers coming to the newest Villa Verone Ristorante Italiano just opened in downtown Elgin.
Singers will present vocal selections from 6 to 8 p.m. every Sunday during July and August beginning July 13 at 13 Douglas Ave. They include contestants and winners of the Elgin OPERA Vocal Competition, as well as the Elgin OPERA Training Ensemble and guest artists. They will perform favorites from Broadway, the Italian song repertoire and opera. There is no cover charge. Elgin OPERA’s artistic director is Solange Sior.
