Downers Grove Grade School District 58 parents can learn more about their child’s upcoming school year at curriculum night Thursday, Aug. 27.

Parents who have children attending Belle Aire, El Sierra, Highland, Hillcrest, Indian Trail, Kingsley, Lester and Pierce Downer schools have an opportunity to visit teachers and see their child’s new classroom.

Each school’s hours vary.
• Belle Aire — First to third grade from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and fourth to sixth grade from 7 to 7:30 p.m.

• El Sierra — Kindergarten, second, fourth and sixth grade will be meeting from 6:30 to 7 p.m. First, third and fifth grade will be meeting from 7 to 7:30 p.m.

• Highland — Kindergarten to second grade will meet from 6 to 6:40 p.m., while third to sixth grade will meet from 6:50 to 7:30 p.m.

• Hillcrest — Morning kindergarten and first though third grade will meet from 6:15 to 7 p.m., while afternoon kindergarten and fourth through sixth grades will meet from 7:15 to 8 p.m.

• Indian Trail — All grades from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.

• Kingsley — Kindergarten to third grade are meeting from 6:30 t o 7 p.m., while fourth through sixth grade are meeting from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m.

• Lester — All grades from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

• Pierce Downer — Kindergarten is meeting from 5:30 to 6:10 p.m. First, fourth and fifth grades are meeting from 6:20 to 7 p.m. and third and sixth grades are meeting from 7:10 to 7:50 p.m.
