The Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare Board of Governors’ 59th annual Fall Benefit Dinner will host John McDonough, president of the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team, as this year’s featured speaker.
McDonough was named president of the Blackhawks in 2007. Previously, he worked for 25 years with the Chicago Cubs, the last year as president. McDonough was inducted into the Chicago Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
The benefit dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. A complimentary cocktail reception kicks off the night at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. and the program to follow.
Tickets are $125 each, while tables of 10 are available for $1,250 and patron level tables are available for $2,500.
Proceeds will benefit the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, scheduled to open in late 2011.
