Teenagers cited for curfew
Three teenagers from Lyons were cited for violating curfew at 2:30 a.m. July 20 at Ogden Avenue and Vine Street, police said.
According to police, a 16-year-old was driving the car with two passengers, a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old.
The driver also was charged with driving without a valid drivers license, improper lane usage and possession of tobacco by a minor, police said.
All three were released and are scheduled to appear in court, police said.
Golf clubs reported stolen
Two sets of golf clubs were reported taken from an open garage between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 16 in the 300 block of North Bruner Street, police said.
No value was placed on the two sets of clubs, which contained various brands and styles, according to police. The incident was reported to police July 17.
Woman charged with DUI
Suzanne Moore Gray, 53, 6115 S. Park Ave., Bur Ridge was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and failure to dim headlights when required after being arrested at about 9:30 p.m. July 16 at Garfield Avenue near 60th Street, police said.
According to police, officers stopped Gray’s vehicle for driving at night with high-beam headlights illuminated. Gray refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, police said.
DUI alleged
Marilyn Klimovich, 49, of Stickney was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage after being arrested at about 2:45 a.m. July 17 at 55th Street and Barton Lane, police said.
Klimovich refused to submit to a breathalyzer test after officers stopped the vehicle for speeding and improper lane usage, according to police.
Darien
Truck tires stolen
Fourteen semi-truck tires, valued at $3,850, were reported taken between 8 p.m. July 15 and 8 a.m. July 16 from Vision Trailer Leasing, 1035 S. Frontage Road, according to police. The tires were removed from a trailer parked overnight at the location, according to police.
Man faces DUI charge
Glen A. Prentice, 56, 17 W. 310 91st St., Willowbrook was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving without a valid drivers license after being arrested at about 11:45 p.m. July 16 on North Frontage Road, police said.
Teenager faces drug charge
Branden Thomas, 17, 6902 Brookbank St., Darien was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after being arrested at about 2 p.m. July 15 in the 7300 block of Tennessee Avenue, police said.
According to police, officers saw several teenagers standing by the car Thomas was driving near the skate park at the Darien Sportsplex, 451 Plainfield Road. Upon further investigation, Thomas had possession of multiple bags of marijuana, police said.
Car burglary reported
A wallet, global positioning system, cell phone, power cord and credit cards, valued at about $1,400, were reported taken between 2 and 7:45 a.m. July 20 from a locked car parked in the 7400 block of Richmond Avenue, police said.
