Darien Historical Society’s annual ice cream social

The Darien Historical Society will host its annual Ice Cream Social at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Darien Community Park, Plainfield and Clarendon Hills roads.
Cornerstone Restaurant and State Bank of Countryside will provide free ice cream, cookies and lemonade.
There will also be a sing-a-long with “Bill Bailey’s Banjos.”
In case of rain, the social will be relocated to the Darien Park District, located at 75th Street and Fairview Avenue.
