Student counterfeits $5
A sixth-grade student at Gower Middle School was caught using counterfeit money at about 9:15 a.m. Dec. 12 at the school, 7941 Madison St.
Police said the student created a $5 bill on their home computer. The situation was handled by a peer jury and no criminal charges were filed.

GPS stolen from car
Police said a global positioning system was stolen from a locked car at about 4 p.m. Dec. 12 at Five Seasons Sports Club, 6901 Madison St. The estimated loss is unknown.

Man charged with DUI
Police said Jason Sunde, 28, 7721 S. Leonard Drive, Darien, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 3:45 a.m. Dec. 12 at Route 83 and 75th Street.

Clarendon Hills
Man arrested on warrant
Robert Schnable, 48, of Lombard, was arrested on an in-state warrant at about 6 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 100 block of Ann Street.
Police said they were called to investigate a suspicious person report and found Schnable in a basement storage area.

Battery arrest after fight
David Heaton, 22, of Clarendon Hills, was charged with domestic battery after being arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 28 at Mayflower Motel, 407 Ogden Ave.
Police said Heaton admitted to striking another person.

Willowbrook
DUI alleged
Police said Michele Fruth, 45, of Homer Glen, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and an improper U-turn after being arrested at about midnight Dec. 10 in the 800 block of Midway Drive.

Police make DUI stop
Police said Ilija Tupacev, 22, 10S511 Echo Lane, unincorporated Willowbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage after being arrested at about 2:30 a.m. Dec. 15 in the 600 block of Plainfield Road.

Trailer stolen from lot
Police said a box trailer was stolen from the Chief Trucking parking lot between 10 a.m. Dec. 10 and 9:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at 800 79th St. The estimated loss is $16,000.

Radios taken from cars
Police said the driver’s side window of two cars were broken, and the car radios were stolen.
One window was broken between 7 p.m. Dec. 7 and 11 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 7300 block of Tennessee Drive. The other window was broken before 11 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 7400 block of Tennessee Drive.

Vandalism reported
Police said graffiti was spray-painted on a storage container and box truck at about 2:45 p.m. Dec. 12 at Kmart, 840 Plainfield Road. The estimated loss is $200.
