• Members of the Willowbrook-Burr Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Industry have announced that Laura Armstrong and Lindsey Hinni, graduating seniors from Hinsdale South High School, have been named the recipients of the 2008 Chamber Scholarship Awards. Both students received $1,500 gifts that will be directed to their college education. Armstrong ranked 77 of 436 graduates and earned a cumulative grade-point average of 4.94 and an ACT score of 30. She will attend Loyola University to study corporate law. Hinni ranked 45th in her class, while earning a 5.2 GPA and an ACT score of 27. She will attend Iowa State University to study architecture and construction management.
