Darien City Administrator Bryon Vana presented to the City Council Aug. 18  updated changes made to the Darien Web site.

The Web site, www.darien.il.us, has been revamped to better meet citizens needs more conveniently, he said.

One example Vana provided was the method used to request and receive a garage sale permit. Now accessible online, a resident no longer needs to make the drive to City Hall to pick up a permit since they can now just print it off the site directly.

“We’re trying to make it easier on residents when they need something,” Vana said.
