Library silent auction Friends of the Oak Brook Public Library holding a holiday silent auction of fine used and rare books through Dec. 7. Selections of books are being offered in themed lots, which can be viewed in the library’s lobby display cases, 600 Oak Brook Road. Books include architecture, chefs, flowers, holidays, hunting, investing, lyric, quilts and others.
