The Chicago White Sox selected Morton West's Ryan Crowley in the 36th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
Crowley, who is signed to play at the University of Missouri next school year, was the 1,093rd overall pick.
The 6-foot-2 inch, 180 pound left-handed pitcher went 7-3 for Morton this spring with 103 strikeouts, 12 walks and a 1.20 earned run average. He was also an all-West Suburban Gold Conference selection.
