The fifth annual Youth Crossroads co-ed adult 16-inch softball tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14, is need of teams.

The charity tournament was originally scheduled for last month, but rain forced organizers to postpone the event. Many of the teams who had registered for the original date are no longer able to participate due to scheduling conflicts.

Teams must include a minimum of nine players, at least three of which must be women. Registration for each team is $300 and due Friday, June 12.

The tournament will be held at Hawthorne Park, at Ogden and Laramie avenues, Cicero.
All proceeds will go toward the Youth Crossroads’ services, including individual and family counseling, delinquency prevention, and leadership development programs.
