Town President Larry Dominick is sponsoring an inaugural basketball camp July through September.

The camp will be held at the Cicero Community Center’s gymnasium, 2250 S. 49th Ave. Activities will include, basketball fundamentals, camp awards, all all-star game, uniforms and special appearances by NBA players.

From July 1 through August 25, the camp’s summer portion will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for children 10 to 14 years of age, and noon to 2 p.m. for those 15 to 18.

Once school begins, the camp will be held only on the weekends from Aug. 29 through Sept. 27. For the younger age group, camp will go from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturdays, and 3 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Older students will meet from noon to 2 p.m. Saturdays and 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays.

Registration forms are available Community Center and a $25 non-refundable application fee will be required upon registration.
