Free backpacks available at Back to School Dental Fair

The Town of Cicero will offer free backpacks filled with school supplies to the first 400 children who attend a free Back to School Dental Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Aug. 13.
The event will be held at the Cicero Community Center Health Clinic, 2250 S. 49th Ave. In addition to the backpacks, dental exams will be provided on a first come, first served basis to Cicero children.
A dental exam is a state requirement for all children entering Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 9th grades, and for all students enrolling in the district for the first time.
