Morton College to host 16-hour registration event

Students interested in registering for fall classes at Morton College, 3801 S. Central Ave., are invited to attend Midnight at Morton, a 16-hour registration drive from 8 a.m. to midnight Thursday, Aug. 13.
Participants will be able to take placement tests, speak with academic advisors, apply for financial aid, set up a payment plan and purchase books. The event will also feature giveaways of movie tickets, Six Flags passes, and a grand prize of two iPod Nanos.
Morton College’s Broadway club will perform two plays at noon and 2 p.m. At dusk, there will be a showing “The Haunting in Connecticut” in the courtyard, weather permitting.
Fall semester begins Aug. 24 and classes cost $64 per credit hour for Morton district residents. The district includes Berwyn, Cicero, Forest View, Lyons, McCook, and Stickney.
