Ethan Waterman finished fifth at Tuesday’s Class 3A Streamwood regional tournament at Bartlett Hills Golf Club in Bartlett and earned his first trip to the sectional tournament.  But that’s not why the Glenbard North senior will remember his round.

In a meeting in 2006 when South Elgin’s debut football team was hardly considered a varsity squad, Bartlett blitzed the Storm in a blowout loss. Three years later, the two schools are meeting for just the second time, and because of the Storm’s development in recent years, it should be a much more intense battle.
