The Carol Stream Police Department, in conjunction with the Carol Stream Public Library, are giving young children a chance to learn what a police officer does each day in the community.
An officer from the Carol Stream Police Department will be at the library at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26 to talk with children about what a typical day on the job might be like. Kids will learn about all the special jobs police officers do, and see close up some of the tools they use to do them.
This program is for families with children ages 4 to 8. To register, call (630) 653-0755.
