Elmhurst Children's Theater's "Annie"
The Elmhurst Childrenís Theaterís fall musical production is "Annie," the timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie, at the Bryan Middle School in Elmhurt. The musical follows the hard times of a young orphan trying to survive the Great Depression and the horrible woman in charge of the orphanage. She is fortunate enough to be invited to spend Christmas with the billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. This features one of Broadway's most memorable scores, including "It's a Hard-Knock Life," " Easy Street," " N.Y.C. and the ever optimistic "Tomorrow." All tickets are $8.00 and are sold at the door. Priority seating and a limited number of backstage tours are offered with group reservations -- a terrific outing for Scout Troops and any other youth groups. Performances are Friday, October 18 at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 19 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 20, at 2 p.m.
