The final Brookfield Farmers Market will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, in the parking lot of the Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Ave.
Organic and homegrown fruit and vegetables, as well as poultry, meat, flowers, coffee and other products will be available for sale.
The market placed 57th in the nationwide “Love Your Farmers Market” contest, sponsored by Care2 and Local Harvest, two organizations that promote healthy living. The market had 245 votes.
The Brookfield market was one of six Illinois markets to make the top 100.
