The Brookfield Beautification Committee will host the first ever garden contest with hopes to beautify Brookfield this summer.

Residents can enter their gardens that are visible from the street, interesting and appealing, and well tended. Gardens entering the contest should be remarkable for their design or originality and enhances the look of the neighborhood.

Applications must be submitted by July 20 and judging will be held the first week in August.

Three winners will receive village recognition, a sign in their yard and a certificate.
