Relay for Life group to start planning for summer event

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Brookfield is gathering at Paisans Pizzeria and Restaurant Wednesday, Jan. 21, to form teams and inspire volunteers.

Friends, neighbors and cancer survivors are asked to come together to plan for this years Relay for Life in Ehlert Park at 6:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to form a team, volunteer to help plan the relay or wants to hear more about this year’s highlights should attend.

Relay for Life is an overnight event  celebrating cancer survivors while honoring those who lost their battle with cancer. This year the relay will be held from 6 p.m. Friday, July 10, to 6 a.m. Saturday, July 11. The theme is “Where in the world is Relay.”
