Anne Marie McManus and Matt Scott Archer have announced their engagement. Annie is the daughter of Mike and Anne McManus of Brookfield. Matt is the son of Neil Archer and Louella Archer of Paducah, Ky.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Morton West High School. She earned a Medicaid nurse aid certificate and an early childhood education administrator certificate from West Kentucky Community and Tech College in 2008. She currently is serving in the U.S. Army Reserves in Paducah.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Blue Grass Challenge Academy in Ft. Knox, Ky. He is currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserves in Madisonville, Ky., and Golden Eagle in Paducah.
The wedding is planned for December 2008 in Leilanee’s Wedding Chapel in Paducah.
