Car damaged
eh, jsh A passenger-side window of a Honda Pilot was shattered at about 9:45 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 3700 block of Morton Avenue, according to reports. The estimated damage is $200, police said.

Laptop taken from car
A laptop and eight packs of cigarettes were stolen from a Chevy Express van at about 8:15 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 3500 block of Grand Avenue, according to reports. A window was smashed to gain entry. Police said the cigarettes and laptop are valued at a total of $5,035.

Riverside
Suspended license alleged
Yaroslav Bolesta, 21, of Chicago was charged with driving with a suspended license after being pulled over at about 5:15 a.m. Nov. 17 at Harlem and Ogden avenues, according to reports.
Officers observed the pickup truck traveling 44 mph in a 30 mph zone, according to reports.

Man faces DUI charge
Christian Joseph Munoz, 26, of Wood Dale was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 6:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the corner of Harlem and Longcommon avenues, according to reports.

Police said officers were conducting a traffic safety seat belt detail and noticed a Nissan Altima approach and not stopping. Munoz came within 5 feet of hitting an officer before coming to a stop, according to reports.

Munoz refused to perform a field sobriety test and initially a breathalyzer test, police said. He agreed to take one at the police station and blew a .124 BAC, according to reports.

Westchester
Police make DUI stop
Thomas Walsh, 38, of Berwyn was arrested at about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26 for drunken driving, police said.

Police responded to the 2800 block of Sunnyside Avenue for reports of an accident. Upon arrival, police arrested Walsh and had placed him into the squad car, when he began kicked the door.

One officer was knocked backward when Walsh kicked the car door into him as the officer attempted stop the kicking, police said.

Walsh was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, battery to a police officer and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Electronics, cash stolen
Police said about $2,800 worth of property was stolen between 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and 8:15 a.m. Nov. 3 at Bedrock Enterprises, 9865 Roosevelt Road.

The owner reported the incident Nov. 3 after noticing his office door had been pried open, police said. A laptop, 20-inch flat-screen TV, printer, iPod and $650 in cash were all stolen from the office.

Armed robber sought
Police are looking for a man who held up a convenience station employee at about 12:15 a.m. Nov. 4, according to a police report.

Police said the man entered J. Dee’s Convenient Shopping, 10147 Roosevelt Road, and walked behind the counter. He then held an open box cutter and demanded money from the cash register. The man grabbed $75 and fled westbound on Roosevelt Road.

Police described the man as black, between 18 and 20 years old. He was wearing a black rag on his head, dark baggy jeans, dark sweatshirt and white gym shoes.

Air pistol assault alleged
A bicyclist told police that a man threatened him with an air pistol at about 12:15 p.m. Nov. 7 near Gardner Road and Drury Lane, police said.

Police said the resident was riding his bike when a tan or gold Cadillac Catera pulled up next to him. A male occupant of the car then pulled the pistol out and yelled “pow.”

Police could not provide a detailed description of the suspect.
