Riverside police responded to two fights at Riverside Brookfield High School Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Police were called to the first fight at about 9:35 a.m. at the school, 160 Ridgewood Road, Riverside.
Two male students, ages 17 and 16, had exchanged words about an incident that occurred last school year and began punching each other, according to police. The fight was broken up by teachers at the school, police said.
The boys were issued local ordinance tickets for disorderly conduct, police added.
The second fight took place at dismissal. Two girls, ages 17 and 15, confronted each other in front of the school, and the 17-year-old shoved the 15-year-old, police said. The 17-year-old was issued a local ordinance ticket for disorderly conduct.
All three students have a court date at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Maybrook Courthouse, 1500 Maybrook Drive in Maywood.
