n Sarah Bjork, 27, of Elgin was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at about 12:45 p.m. Dec. 19 at Route 59 and Schick Road, according to police reports.
n Todd Short, 29, of Marengo was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding at about 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at Devon Avenue and Wilmington Drive, according to police reports.
n Alejandro Ramirez-Rodriguez, 23, of West Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and no valid driver’s license at about 2 a.m. Dec. 13 at Route 59 and Southwind Boulevard, according to police reports.
n Kurtis Tyburski, 22, 769 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bartlett, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, street racing, uninsured vehicle and improper lane use at about 2 a.m. Dec. 12 at South Bartlett Road and Orchards Pass, according to police reports.
n Narenda Purania, 33, 1756 Lanyon Drive, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at about 2:45 a.m. Dec. 11 at Route 59 and Norwood Avenue, according to police reports.

Car burglarized
A winter coat, sweatshirt and wallet valued at a total $435 were reported stolen between 2:30 and 5 p.m. Dec. 16 from a 2006 Toyota parked in Lot B of Stratford Square Mall, according to police reports.
The car’s driver’s side window also was reported shattered, police said.

Man faces drug charge
Joseph Delahunt, 18, of Hoffman Estates, was charged with possession of marijuana at 8:15 p.m. Dec. 17 in Lot B of Stratford Square Mall, according to police reports.

Teen faces citations
Juan M. Almaraz, 18, 744 Leslie Court, Glendale Heights, was cited for consumption of alcohol as a minor and driving too fast for conditions at 4 a.m. Dec. 22 near the intersection of Glen Ellyn Road and Deer Glen Way, according to police reports.

Computers stolen from car
Two laptop computers and a brown canvass bag valued at a total of $3,600 were reported stolen at 5 p.m. Dec. 22 from a 2008 Lexus parked outside of Best Buy, 358 W. Army Trail Road, according to police reports.

Teens charged in mall
Cody Haywood, 19, of Joliet; Timothy Feazll, 19, of Glen Ellyn; and Lajuan Hilson, 19, of Lombard, were all charged with disorderly conduct after the three allegedly were involved in an altercation at 7:45 p.m. Dec. 22 at Stratford Square Mall, according to police reports.

GPS unit stolen from car
A Garmin global positioning unit valued at $600 was reported stolen between 8:15 and 11:30 p.m. Dec. 26 from a 2007 Chevrolet parked in Lot B of Stratford Square Mall, according to police reports.
The car’s front passenger side window also was reported shattered, police said.

Three face charges 
William A. Wisvader, 21, 481 Arrowhead Trail, Carol Stream, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; Stacy M. Bienasz, 18, 3 Cul De Sac Drive, West Chicago, was charged with unlawful  consumption of alcohol by a minor; and Nicholas Sisto, 19, 820 Minnesota Circle, Carol Stream, was charged with possession of marijuana at about 12:30 a.m. Dec. 27 near the intersection of Birchbark Trail and Kuhn Road, police said.

Man faces bevy of charges
Jay A Kripton, 49, 2090 Greenbridge Lane, Hanover Park, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, no insurance and other traffic infractions at about 1 a.m. Dec. 28 on the 100 block of West North Avenue, police said.

Man charged with DUI
Teodoro Torres-Espinoza, 38, 156 Quail Run, No. 2A, Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence, no valid driver’s license and no insurance at about 10:15 p.m. Dec. 20 near the intersection of North Avenue and Kuhn Road, police said.

Woman faces DUI
Jeanne M. Hartman, 36, 1N344 Purnell St., Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana at about 2:15 a.m. Dec. 13 along Gary Avenue, police said.

Minor faces alcohol charge
Oswaldo Monarrez, 20, no address given, was charged with zero tolerance and no valid driver’s license at about 10 p.m. Dec. 24 on the 1500 block of Glen Ellyn Road, police said.

Identity theft reported
Police said a Naperville woman reported someone had opened an account using her name and a Glendale Heights address, where she claims she never lived.
According to police, the victim reported that an unknown person opened an account under her name with Comcast, and she received a bill for $619 for an address on the 200 block of Shorewood Drive. The incident was reported Dec. 21 and is under investigation, police said.

DUI charged
Mario Puga, 38, no address given, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at about 6:45 p.m. Dec. 25 on the 600 block of Bloomingdale Road, police said.
