Lawn mower stolen
A John Deere riding lawn mower was stolen from a maintenance building at Indian Lakes Country Club, 250 W. Schick Road, between 10 a.m. Sept. 7 and 5:36 a.m. Sept. 8.
The west side window of the building also was smashed out.
The mower was valued at $40,050.
Man faces drug charge
Andre Cymone Smith, 26, 2N122 Claredon Ave., Lombard, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at 1:11 a.m. Sept. 9 near Army Trail Road and Bob-O-Link Drive.
Camera parts stolen
Camera accessories and a tripod were stolen from the sidewalk in front of a home on the 100 block of Fessler Drive between 9:30 and 9:35 a.m. Sept. 10.
The owner of the equipment told police he left the items on the sidewalk to take pictures of a home for sale.
The items were valued at $450.
Car burglarized
A tool bag and black leather purse were stolen from a 2003 Chevrolet parked on the 300 block of West Army Trail Road between 7:20 and 8:55 p.m. Sept. 11.
The car’s passenger’s side window was also shattered.
The items were valued at $2,860.

Marijuana possession alleged
Jessica R. Krovacevic, 26, 2S570 Gray Ave., Lombard, was charged with possession of marijuana and not wearing a seat belt at 11 a.m. Tuesday near Schmale Road and Burns Avenue.
Drug, DUI charges filed
Sran Mathias , 20, 841 Hawk Lane, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possessing marijuana at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 12 near Oakwood Avenue and Woodhill Drive.
Drunken driving charged
Ingrida Kalaliauskas, 38, 5810 Oakwood Drive, Lisle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegally transporting of alcohol at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 9 near Evergreen Street and Burning Trail Lane.
Alcohol possession charged
Justin E. Ranney, 17, 811 Washington Ave., St. Charles, was charged with illegal consumption and possession of alcohol at 11 p.m. Sept. 11 along North Avenue.

Tools taken from van
Tools, valued at $1,080, were taken from a van between 2:40 and 3 p.m. Monday while parked along the 100 block of North Avenue.
No suspect information was given. Police did not say whether the van was locked at the time of the theft.
Purse taken from vehicle
A black Fendi purse containing a wallet, driver’s license and other items was taken from an unlocked vehicle along the 100 block of West Montana Avenue. The incident was reported at 1 p.m. Saturday .
Drunken driving charged
Javier J .Villanueva, 27, no address given, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, attempting to obstruct justice and squealing his tires at 9:30 p.m. Monday near Glen Ellyn Road and Burdette Avenue.

Car burglarized
An air bag, a compact disc player, a DVD player its screen were stolen from a car parked outside of Colonial Village Apartments, 1660 Norwood Ave. The theft was reported at 1:03 p.m. Sunday.
The car’s window was smashed. Damage and loss estimates were not available.
Golf clubs stolen
A set of golf clubs was stolen from the bag-drop area of Itasca Country Club, 540 W. Irving Park Road. The theft was reported at 12:31 p.m. Sept. 8.

DUI arrest
Larry Johnson, 38, of Hanover Park was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at midnight Aug. 24 at Prospect Street and Irving Park Road.
Cars burglarized
Four cars were burglarized overnight Sept. 1 or Sept. 2
Two vehicles were burglarized on the 500 block of Sequoia Trail. A computer and stereo equipment were stolen.
A radar detector was stolen from a car parked on the 500 block of North Isle Royal Bay; and an amplifier, speaker and radar detector were stolen from a car parked on the 600 block of White Sands Bay.
Same-block burglaries
Two bicycles were stolen from a garage on the 300 block of East Ardmore Avenue. The burglary was reported at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 1.
Power tools were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of East Ardmore Avenue. The burglary was reported at 4 p.m. Sept. 1. The tools were valued at $5,000.
Car stolen
A 2003 four-door Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from the 400 block of White Oak Drive. The theft was reported at 4 p.m. Sept. 1. A basement window was broken at the home the car was at, but no one gained entrance to the residence.
Auto burglarized
A DVD player, a case with 24 DVDs, a video/digital camera, sunglasses and an iPod were stolen from a car parked on the 500 block of Fall Circle. The theft was reported at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 4.
