A vehicle crashed into the entrance of Pik-Kwik Foods in Roselle Tuesday morning.

The crash knocked down the brick wall surrounding the door to the entrance of the store, which is located at 525 E. Irving Park Road. The front door and an adjacent glass block window were also damaged.

Roselle Police responded to the accident around 8:47 a.m. Claudia Barengo of the 800 block of East Bryn Mawr was driving a 2007 Buick. As she pulled into a parking space in the store's lot, her foot slipped off the break and onto the gas pedal, police said. She then hit the brick embankment of the store.

A car parked in the lot was hit by falling debris. There were no injuries and no citations, according to police.

The store was closed when a reporter arrived at the scene around 10:15 a.m.
