
A South Elgin man who discharged a firearm in Bartlett last year was found guilty in court Monday.
On Dec. 20, the Bartlett Police Department charged David L. Gordon, 39, of 460 Martin Drive in South Elgin, for discharging a firearm at a male resident in the 100 block of North Tatge Avenue Dec. 13.
No one was struck by a bullet or injured in this incident.
Gordon was found guilty yesterday in the Third Municipal District Circuit Court of Cook County in Rolling Meadows of a class 1 felony for aggravated discharge of a firearm. He was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
