Two men were charged with residential burglary after stealing video game equipment from a Bartlett home Tuesday, police said.
Around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Bartlett Police responded to the 500 block of Harbor Terrace after a concerned neighbor reported seeing two men enter a home through a locked patio door and then flee on foot carrying a pillow case, officers said.
Police located and apprehended Christopher L. Luckett, 26, of 1460 N. 1st Avenue Apt. 6, Melrose Park, at Sandpiper Court and Newport Boulevard and Daniel R. Harvey, 25, of 121 S. 10th Street Apt 2, Maywood, at Shorewood and Lakeside drives, according to reports. Police said they recovered stolen video game equipment and about 75 grams of marijuana.
The DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office and Bartlett Police charged Luckett with a Class 1 Felony for residential burglary and a Class 4 Felony for unlawful possession of cannabis and Harvey with a Class 1 Felony for residential burglary, officers said.
Luckett and Harvey were transported to the DuPage County Jail in Wheaton to await their bail bond hearing.
