Battery, DUI charged
Peter Rende, 47, 198 Cambridge Drive, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and battery at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 200 block of Braintree Drive, according to police reports.

DUI, other offenses charged
Serafin Rodriguez, 44, of Addison was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper display of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 1 a.m. Sept. 18 near the intersection of Lake Street and Bloomingdale Road, according to police reports.

Woman faces drug charge
Allyson M. Lean, 22, 460 Dover Drive, Roselle, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 19 near the intersection of Army Trail Road and Regency Drive, according to police reports.

Man faces traffic charges
Jose Bobadilla, 29, 167 Wellington Drive, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and driving wihout a valid driver’s license at 1 a.m. Sept. 20 near the intersection of Springfield and Butterfield drives, according to police reports.

Man faces multiple charges
Roberto Dimas, 49, 585 Gundersen Drive, Apt. 209, Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper use of a turn signal and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 2:30 a.m.  Sept. 21 near the intersection of Army Trail and Meadowlark roads, according to police reports.

DUI, speeding charged
Albert Posluszny, 19, of Wood Dale was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane use, following too closely and failure to signal when required at 2:15 a.m.  Sept. 21 near the intersection of Lake Street and Glen Ellyn Road, according to police reports.

Roselle
Fountain stolen
A fountain was stolen from a pond on the 100 block of North Garden Avenue at 2 p.m. Sept. 9. The fountain was valued at $1,850.

Theft attempt alleged
Anthony E. Slavich, 22, 128 W. Pratt Blvd., Roselle, was charged with attempted theft and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11 p.m. Sept. 10 on the 200 block of West Central Avenue.
Police said Slavich tried to steal scaffolding off a truck.

Tire stolen
The driver’s side rear tire was stolen from a car parked at the train station at the 500 block of East Irving Park Road. The theft was reported at 6 p.m. Sept. 11.

Xbox taken
An Xbox 360 and video games were stolen from a residence on the 500 block of East Devon Avenue. The theft was reported at 10 p.m. Sept. 11.

DUI arrest
Kenneth E. Smith, 37, of Bolingbrook was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal lane use and speeding at 1 a.m. Sept. 12 on the 600 block of North Roselle Road.
