Two injured in house fire

Two people trapped inside a burning house in Glendale Heights were hospitalized after being rescued by firefighters early this morning.

At 12:15 a.m., officers from the Glendale Heights Police Department responded to 400 E. Fullerton Ave., where two people were trapped inside the residence as it burned. Firefighters entered the home to rescue the two victims — an 84-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman — who were near the stairs.

Man charged for Carol Stream bank robbery

The FBI Chicago Division announced Friday that Stephen K. Bolf, 28, whose last known address was in the 600 block of Gundersen Drive, Carol Stream, was charged for the Oct. 13 robbery of West Suburban Bank, 895 E. Geneva Road, Carol Stream.

An investigation continues into whether Bolf may have been involved in other bank robberies in the area.
