Elderday invites car show entries

BATAVIA, IL -

The Classic Cars for Classic Seniors benefit, the fourth annual Elderday Center car show, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in the Bethany Lutheran Church parking lot behind the Elderday Center, located in its Ministry Center, 8 S. Lincoln St., Batavia.

Awards will be presented at 2 p.m. by the corporate sponsor, Tri City Sheet Metal. Other sponsors include Ollie’s Garage and Thompson Auto Supply. There will be music, 50/50 raffles, food and refreshments. The registration fee is $15 per car, and is limited to classics, hot rods, customs, antiques, muscle cars and trucks. Admission is free to spectators.

For more information, call the center at (630) 761-9750. It provides daytime activities and supervision for seniors. The car show was rescheduled to October by July rains.
