James and Mary MacConnell of Glen Ellyn announce the engagement of their son, Jason MacConnell, to Kate Foor, daughter of Lew and Sally King and Steve Foor of Defiance, Ohio.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Defiance High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay in 2004. She is employed as a showroom manager for Atlas Carpet Mills in Chicago.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Glenbard West High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 2004. He is employed as a teacher at Deerfield High School.
The wedding is planned for January 2009. The couple will reside in Evanston.
