Peg and Lee Gramas of Glen Ellyn announce the engagement of their son, George Gramas, to Jackie Haywood, daughter of Lori and Allan Haywood of Battle Creek, Mich.
The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a certification in secondary education from Michigan Technological University in 2008. She is employed with a contract research organization in Madison, Wis.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Glenbard South High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in applied and computational mathematics with a coaching minor from Michigan Technological University in 2008. He is employed as an infantry officer with the U.S. Army.
The wedding is planned for 2009.
