Happy Hour benefit scheduled for special-needs group

A suburban organization for children and families with special needs in the western suburbs is hosting a fundraising Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 24.
The fundraiser for Somebody Special, a non-profit organization created by Lombard resident Mary Ellen Connelly, will be hosted at Fokol Hall, 4131 S. Home Ave., Stickney. Tickets are $30 at the door, Connelly said.
There will be a DJ, beer, wine and pizza, and residents from throughout the western suburbs are invited to attend, Connelly said.
