DuPage County -

The number of confirmed cases of H1N1 flu in DuPage County remained at one today public health officials said.

On Friday the county said one probable case of a 26-year-old Elmhurst man was officially confirmed as the swine flu strain by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and 11 new probable cases were reported from Addison, Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, West Chicago and Wheaton.

“We're still holding at 11 probable 1 confirmed,” DuPage health spokesman Jason Gerwig said Saturday morning after the Illinois health department released its latest numbers. “I don't anticipate anymore (cases will be confirmed) until tomorrow.”
