Middle school to remain closed through Thursday

Haines Middle School will reopen for students, faculty and staff on Friday, based on a recommendation from the Kane County Health Department.
The school closed Thursday due to a probable case of Swine Flu. All Haines Middle School extracurricular events have been postponed.
The remainder of the school calendar for Haines Middle School remains unchanged. Graduation for 8th grade students is on Monday, June 8, the last day of classes is Tuesday, June 9.
At this time there are no other reported probable cases in any other District 303 schools. All other District 303 schools are open.
The district is closely monitoring reports of illness and absentee rates for any abnormal instances.
