Bolingbrook Golf Club welcomes Celebrity Players Tour

The Tom Dreesen Celebrity Invitational, Chicago' stop on the Celebrity Players Golf Tour, will return to Bolingbrook Golf Club Aug. 10-13.
The event will feature personalities from sports, TV, movies and music in a 27-hole tournament on Aug. 13. Tickets cost $10 with proceeds benefiting the United Way of Will County.
The four-day event will kick off at 2 p.m. Aug. 10 with an All-Star Community Clinic at BGC, followed by "Taste of Promenade" at 7 p.m. at Bolingbrook's Promenade Mall.
There will be celebrity-amateur shotgun rounds at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 11 and 12, and the event will conclude with the 27-hole tourney at 8 a.m. Aug. 13.
Among those scheduled to appear are Chicago sports personalities Kevin Butler, Vinny Del Negro, Jim McMahon, Stan Mikita, Bernie Nichols, Jeremy Roenick and Jim Thornton.
