Lyons and former Berwyn resident Margaret Guarisco, 87, died Jan. 5, 2008, in her home.
Mass was celebrated Jan. 9 in St. Pius X Church, Stickney, followed by interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
Mrs. Guarisco was a beautician at Mary Ann’s Beauty Shop in the Rogers Park area of Chicago before retiring. She was a member of the Stickney-Forest View Golden Agers and enjoyed bingo and going to the riverboat.
Survivors include her daughter Janice (James) Lazansky; her sisters, Leanette (John) Martoccio, Rose “Dottie” (Tony) Sabbia and Bertha Zeno; her sister-in-law, Lillian Zeno; her grandchildren, Lisa (Patrick) Roach and James J. and Michael (Brenda) Lazansky; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and her daughter Josephine Connell.
