Lifelong Berwyn resident Thomas J. Cihlar, 84, died Jan. 7, 2008, in MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn.
Services were held Jan. 12 in Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, North Riverside, followed by interment in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Stickney.
Mr. Cihlar was the chief custodian at Jefferson Grammar School in Berwyn before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his son, Ronald (Jean); his grandchildren, Christopher (Kalinka) and Nathan (Tricia); and his great-grandchildren, Shay, Jayden, Makayla and Siena.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine.
